Being an Authorized Person and a Registered Architect in Hong Kong with numerous local and international experience in both design and building construction, Woo Kar Fai is one of the founders of At Zero Design Limited. During his practice in OMA (Office for Metropolitan Architecture) Asia Ltd., Edge (HK) Ltd. and Aedas Ltd., he has greatly involved in a comprehensive range of projects such as Sheraton Walker Hill Hotel extension in Korea, an innovative fashion building - MWD in Korea, the design proposal of a 100,000m2 shopping mall - YOHO Town in HK, the renovation of The Landmark in Central, certain urban planning projects and interior fitting-out works. In 1999, Woo Kar Fai and his team were awarded the Honorable Design of Re-unification Monument of Hong Kong competition by HKSAR. In 2004, Woo Kar Fai was awarded the Honorable Mention of Young Architect’s Award 2004 by The Hong Kong Institute of Architects. In 2007, he was one of the invited architects for the 40 Under 40 Chinese Architectural Exhibition held in Shanghai. In 2011, ATZ was the winner of HUGO BOSS Facade Design Concept 2011 competition. In 2015, ATZ was awarded the 2nd Runner-up of The 8th Hong Kong Lighting Design Competition and Hong Kong’s Most Valuable Companies Annual Award. Currently, ATZ has been working for flagship store projects for different high-end retail brands like BOTTEGA VENETA/ CARTIER/ CELINE/ COACH/ DOLCE & GABBANA/ DIOR/ GIROGIO ARMANI/ GRAFF/ HUGO BOSS/ LONGCHAMP/ MCM/ MONTBLANC/ NIKE/ PANDORA/ RALPH LAUREN/ TIFFANY/ VAN CLEEF & ARPELS and some renovation projects for prestigious shopping malls like HARBOUR CITY and SOGO in Hong Kong & China.
